Day 560. Survivors found: 8
WordPress.com (owned by Automattic) permanently suspends ‘A Search For Survivors,’ a child torture survivors site dedicated to blowing the whistle on our abusers.
Blogs created by our abusers — specifically Arthur Becker-Weidman and Ronald Federici, leaders in the field of abusive attachment quackery — that WordPress sees fit to continue hosting:

We refuse to hyperlink, but feel free to investigate for yourself the the lies, the self-promotional spam and the idiotic impersonations (of both Wayward RADish and Advocates for Children in Therapy) that violate WordPress’ Terms of Service far more than this survivors’ blog ever did.
Via WordPress’ Terms of Service:
# your blog is not named in a manner that misleads your readers into thinking that you are another person or company. For example, your blog’s URL or name is not the name of a person other than yourself or company other than your own;
Right.
Some of WordPress.com’s parting shots:

This particular representative of WordPress.com has also seen fit to lie to many of our supporters who protested the company’s acquiescence to the fallacious claims of Heather Forbes, Becker-Weidman and Federici. Our main site was repeatedly frozen and unfrozen, suspended and un-suspended at the whim of WordPress.com’s representative.
Much thanks and gratitude to everyone who donated, re-blogged and protested via e-mail in this WordPress/Becker-Weidman/Federici debacle. We survivors couldn’t carry on without you.

well I guess they are not getting very much business if they have time to spend making up fake sites…
hey, and once again thank you for going through the trouble to keep the info out there on the web for others to see
Posted 12 Sep 2009 at 16:15 ¶Rinda, I can’t comment on how much business Forbes, Federici and Becker-Weidman are getting. I continue to respect your efforts on behalf of your son and the parents and children caught in the cult/system of beliefs that leads to attachment therapy.
Possibly against my own better judgement, I signed up to a Heather Forbes list after I heard that she and Federici were to speak on the 29th August 2009. I wanted to be able to listen to the soundbites.
On September the 4th of 2009, Watching the Waters posted something about using Federici’s three-foot method, as well as Forbes’ ‘love-based’ techniques.
(To the woman’s credit, ‘little miss Radalicious’ had had a neuropsychological assessment in July of this year. But when a word like ‘neuropsychological’ is dropped about, I take it ‘on advisement’ – to coin a phrase).
Postscript: Did you hear about Elton John possibly thinking about adopting this 14-month-old Ukrainian boy called Lev? From experience, these choices of children don’t go well. Pavarotti and his wife Nicoletta went to a Polish orphanage back in 1995, and they fell in love with an 18-month-old called Petrovski. Oh dear, it did soften my heart at the time (when it did need to be softened).
Posted 14 Sep 2009 at 01:43 ¶Postscript the second:
Have now noticed the date on Wayward Radish’s original post.
The ninth of the ninth 2009 at 9:09.
If you were trying to recognise International Foetal Alcohol Syndrome Day, then congratulations.
Now celebrate responsibly.
(And I am well aware that gluttony is one of the Seven Deadly Sins, and probably the one most likely to kill me – in the long run).
